(CYBER) INTERNET SAFETY

The Internet has created a highway of information that is easily accessible from your home or office. Unfortunately, it has also created some new dangers, especially to children and teenagers.

TIPS:

  1. Take advantage of online providers "Parental Control" features to block inappropriate materials.
  2. Monitor you child's time online - if your child becomes upset about your monitoring, this could be a sign your child is engaging in inappropriate activities.
  3. Talk to your children about issues that concern you.
  4. MOST IMPORTANTLY - Never, Ever allow your child to arrange a face to face meeting with another computer user without parental permission.
